Joe Flanagan#
I graduated from UCL in July 2022 with an MSci in Natural Sciences where I specialised in neuroscience and pharmacology whilst also completing modules in psychology and organic/medicinal chemistry. My MSci research project focused on GABAaR mutations and epilepsy. I joined the Mellor Group as a PhD student in September 2022.

I’m currently researching the molecular and synaptic mechanisms which underlie the sustained antidepressant effects of NMDA receptor antagonists ketamine a project jointly supervised by Jack and Emma Robbinson.
